About Us
We’re Eliza and Mikey, partners in life, parents to two beautiful kids, and the founders of Gutful. Like most parents, we just wanted to make sure our kids were getting a little extra goodness into their bellies each day. Between school runs, endless snack requests, and busy days, we needed something simple, natural, and reliable.
Humble Beginnings
Our journey began in our own kitchen, blending up smoothies for our kids’ afternoon treat, something to tide them over between school or kindy and dinner. Over time, those smoothies became our secret weapon for getting more goodness into their little bellies. We’d add a mix of wholefoods, vitamins, minerals, botanicals, probiotics, even nutrient-rich ingredients like beef liver, all sourced from our local wholefood shop.
We wanted to support their gut health and digestion, strengthen their little immune systems, and give them the best shot at staying well through every bug that went around. Before long, we started noticing real changes… steadier energy, better focus, calmer moods, fewer sniffles, and just overall happier, more balanced kids.
That’s when we realised this was something every family could benefit from — and Gutful was born.
The Gutful Difference
When we looked around, we realised how many kids’ supplements were full of fake flavours, sweeteners and synthetic vitamins. We wanted something 100% real, organic and trustworthy, made from ingredients you can actually feel good about.
So we teamed up with well-known nutritionist Cyndi O’Meara to bring Gutful to life. Cyndi is a dear friend of ours and a true pioneer, with over 30 years of experience in the industry. Together we created a powerful powdered blend of organic superfoods, probiotics and botanicals, designed to slip into smoothies and daily routines to help little bodies thrive.
Passion and Purpose
Before Gutful, there was Luvarlee, our pre-made meal company. We built Luvarlee together from the ground up, combining Mikey’s experience as a chef with our shared passion for real, nourishing food. Every meal is made from scratch using whole ingredients. No preservatives, no seed oils, no refined sugars, and no fake stuff. Just good, honest food made the way it should be.
That same philosophy inspired Gutful. We wanted to bring the same love, integrity, and commitment to quality into something for kids. Simple, clean nutrition that helps them feel good, play hard, and grow strong. Like Luvarlee, Gutful is made with premium whole-food ingredients you can trust.
